Huntsville State Park Trail Courses

Below are links to eight trail courses at the Huntsville State Park.  These courses were designed and measured by the Seven Hills Running Club.  Measurements were made in December 2005, using an engineer wheel.

Northwest Cycling Club Trail on Forest Service Land adjacent and north of Huntsville State Park.

Click HERE for a map of this new trail.  This trail is primarily a bike trail, but is available to runners.  There are three access points, two from Huntsville State Park.  If starting from the Chinquapin Trail Head behind the Nature Center and continuing on the Chinquapin Trail, it is 1.1 miles to the new trail access point.  Start the new trail at the new bridge.  If you start at the same trail head but immediately take a right and get on the Triple C Trail behind the Nature Center and go east, it is .6 miles to the new trail access point at the dog leg on the Triple C Trail.

Courses starting and finishing at the Nature Center in the park.

Courses starting and finishing at the I-45 service road parking lot, outside the park.
